Sterling may just be one of the worst places to live. I can honestly say that they don't care about the renter. The model apartment is nothing more than bait. When I moved into my apartment, the place was flithy. Maintence requests can take months before anyone comes and fixes them... half assed might I add. The property is flithy. The pool is always dirty, the parking lot is littered in cigarette butts and broken glass and god help you if you live on the first floor. The walls are paper thin, cell phones loose reception in the buildings and you can hear when anyone in your building flushes the toliet. Also, expect bugs in your apartment... crickets mostly. Parking can also be a pain when anyone throws a party. The cops show up on a regular basis and expect to hear gun shots at least once during your stay. Also, the gate breaks frequently so anyone can get in. Sterling tries to sell potential renters on that false sense of security. I would never suggest living here to anyone. At best, it's a dump.
