I lived at Sterling for 3 years and never moved because it was to difficult to move being a student from out of state. The model apartment that is shown is truly an exaggeration of what the apartments are like. The office staff is rude and inconsistent, you could call and ask the same question to 2 people and get 2 totally different answers. The manager is consistenetly rude and unaccomidating. Fees and bills come from no where. Maintenence is hard to get in touch with and they don't show up unless you are persistent and call everyday til they come. The pool area is nice, the workout area is frequently broken and they refuse to replace the equipment. The walls are more than paper thin, I lived on the second floor and was surronded by constant noise. When people above you walk it sounds like elephants and when people play their stereo's with the bass on it shakes the floors and ceilings. If you are considering Sterling DON'T go look at one of the mulitple other student apartment complex's in the area. Sterling has you sign your lease and that is the last day they are accomidating.
