Crappy

This had to be the worst place I have ever rented at before. The office staff is generally rude and unhelpful unless you can get mommy or daddy to call and complain! I had several problems with roommates and their only suggestion was to either move me (at my expense) to a new unit with total strangers or they told me that I must work it out. In one case they had me living with an alcoholic dropout! That is when I was told that I had to "work it out". What was I supposed to say' I know you are going through a rough time right now, but can you please not: steal from me, come in drunk and belligerent at 3AM all the time, or talk about killing yourself'''' Ridiculous!
The pool area is unlocked so the underage go and drink there after the office has closed. Not really a problem, however, they tend to do stupid things like break glass bottles in and around the jacuzzi, throw chairs in the pool, and generally trash the place. No worries though, the overworked maintenance crew takes care of it the next day. Which means when you need something fixed you can count on a long wait and having to put in multiple requests before anything happens.
The security key that unlocks the security gate and the door to the fitness room often gets deactivated. But that is okay because the gates (which are not monitored) are often left standing wide open for anyone with a U-Haul truck to come load up your stuff and drive away. Infact, shortly after I moved in several vehicles, about 8 total, were broken into and no one from the office knew about it until a few days later. Parties usually get out of hand. People tend to start fighting and throwing things in the parking lot. They only end when the cops or the helicopter arrive. If you pay extra for a covered parking spot you better expect to argue with someone for parking in your spot while you were gone.
The place is generally unclean. When I moved in I found someone else's toothbrush, comb, and trash still in a bathroom. The second apartment they transfered me to was completely trashed! There was dried on food all over the counter tops and kitchen floor and inside the microwave. I don't think anyone in that apartment cleaned...EVER. The carpet was so stained that you could no longer tell what color it was and you could not walk on it without your feet turning black! The office claimed they would send someone to clean it at no charge. Yeah, THAT never happened. Everytime I cleaned, without any assistance from my roommates, one of them would get drunk and trash it all over again.
All and all, if you don't mind living with a constant revolving door of baggage carrying strangers who are often messy, lazy and rude, paying too much and getting crappy assistance, this is the place to be! Let the good times roll! Blech!
