The walls are paper thin, the furniture and carpet are very used and i can hear every step my upstairs neighbors take. If you move here, make sure u fill all the bedrooms with people you know because they will put sketchy ass people in your apartment. if you want to leave during the summer and find someone to sublease, they charge you $350 to "change the lease". maintenance sometimes takes weeks and the office staff generally ignores any complaints unless the cosigner calls. They have assigned my rent payment to the wrong apartment before and the property is not very well kept. My car was broken into and my stereo was stolen. There were six cars broken into in one week this semester. The gates are almost always open. A lot of cell phone services don't work in this area and, even though it is generally noisy (especially if you live by the pool), there are NO good parties. The only somewhat decent student apartments in the area is starr pass, but i wouldn't recommend living west of the freeway if you are a student because there is construction that is going on on the freeway that will last for about 5-8 more years. Its pretty cheap, but you get what you pay for and, actually i would say you get less.
