I have lived at University Villa for two years now. When I first went with my family to look at this apartment complex, I thought it was so nice and I was excited to live there. When we first moved in the management was helpful, but as time went on their helpfulness decayed. Our internet was often very slow or it didn't even work. We just had basic cable even though they claimed we would get HBO with our cable. Then with the first year of our lease they told us if we didn't resign our lease before 2007 they would increase our rates, and since the management was doing a pretty good job and the grounds were maintained well at the time we resigned. Once the new management team came in that is when the apartment really began to go downhill. Maintenance used to come clean the sidewalks every week, but they stopped doing that. The grounds used to actually be landscaped, but now they just let weeds grow everywhere. They do not trim the trees or any other plants. Once when maintenance came they went into my roommate's bathroom and broke her flat iron, even though that is not the room they were supposed to be working in! Over the summer we had problems with our windows leaking and it took them days to come fix it! We have also problems with cars getting broken into and stolen. I don't feel safe at my apartment complex anymore. I truly regret resigning my lease with them for a second year, and I can't wait to move out!

What do you think about the apartments nearby? Like Lantana?

I had the same experience... their flier said pet friendly, a 24 hour pool and what not and a couple of months later they decided to "change the rules"

Yeah, I'm just tired of them switching things all the time even though we had other thing written in our lease.
