I had lived at this apartment complex for three years and only remained because of my roommates. This is a college housing business that preys upon inexperienced students. The management is constantly screwing up, including making lease errors and failing to fix them repeatedly. When I moved out, I received a "standard" cleaning charge which was said to be due on a date *after* it was mailed out. My roommate's car was broken into, there are loud parties, the management lies, their pool parties are lame...but there are free hot dogs on Wednesdays. Not worth it in my opinion.

I forgot--the floors are really cheap and crack easily, the walls are incredibly thin and nighttime activities are easily heard, maintenance only comes around when you mention mold (which unfortunately there was), they are unable to fix basic problems like a sink that won't drain, if the internet they provide goes down (which it frequently does), you get to call the provider rather than the complex calling the provider, the gate breaks often, and...well, there's more but I'll leave it at that.

There is not a single thing you said here that is a lie.

Completely true! This was exactly my experience as well. I hate it here, and I wish I had never lived at this "luxury" apartment complex. When people ask me about this place I tell them to not live here! The standard cleaning fee was actually put under excessive ware and tear, which isn't true for most people at all. The other problem with this charge is the fact that the residents are allowed to have normal wear and tear at the apartment. The management claims that you have to get charged to get the apartment sanitized for moving into or out of the apartment, but this is not mentioned in the lease at all.
