I've read the review where someone has said that Valley View was "Dangerous" and that is a joke! The person to me sounds like they might have a grudge with the complex or management and are acting like a child to "hurt" them. The fact is that since the new management has taken over, the place has been an absolute charm! The staff is like family and the maintenance is worry free! I suggest that people do a little research when it comes to finding an apartment. Contact the Tucson Police Department online or by phone and find out how crime REALLY is at Valley View! Then check the apartments right down on Stone and see their crime (where i used to live) and you'll realize that they are only a few hundered fett away from each other, and are like night and day!!! That to me, says a lot about the great job being done at Valley View!!!!

Perhaps it has gotten better, but there are two high profile murder trials going on right now. One occurred in Valley View and the other in the Medical Complex just South (NW Corner of River and 1stAve). I have compared many complexes in the Tucson and you really get what you pay for. Cheaper rent= illegal activities, crime, poor management. Maintenance is great, quick response, friendly. I'd bet that the "Listen to Me" person actually IS a paid employee of the complex that just happens to live there too. Don't believe the murder occurred there?
