The apartment house was built in the 50's, so the apartments are large (around 900 sq. ft for a one bedroom), very quiet (good soundproofing) and well managed. All units are air-conditioned, have basic cable included in the rent, include a parking space assigned, and have reasonable utilities on a partially shared and partially individual basis. There is security entry at ground level, and as it is a 4 story building, most units have nice views (I happen to look out over a really nice parking lot!). There is a pool and spa, free access to a health club around the corner, and small pets are allowed.

As an older building, there are occasional repairs needed, but management keeps after them with a fair degree of success. Larger or critical repairs are done immediately, no messing around! The grounds are well kept, and nice.

As a resident for 6 years, and as a full time renter all over the country for most of my life, I would be quite happy to stay here permanently, unless the ownership changes and becomes uncaring. It is a good place to live.
