On a personal note, I have lived in apartments
in various cities throughout California and
Arizona for nearly 50 years..... but none match
the Van Buren when considering the quality of
accommodations, cost, security, surrounding
grounds, etc. Living in the Van Buren could be
compared to living in a luxury four star hotel.
Much of the credit for this five-star rating
goes to resident manager, Mary Martin. Obviously,
her management skills go far beyond her normal duties of ensuring utilities are properly
functioning, the grounds and complex itself
are properly maintained, collecting rents, etc.
She takes a personal interest in each tenant's
well-being and often visits tenants at nearby
hospitals, assisting them with shopping, etc.
Ms. Martin also hosts monthly birthday parties,
special events on holidays, and numerous other
activities. It is no wonder she was recently
honored by the Apartment Association of Arizona
as Manager-of-the-Year for apartment complexes
in her classification. Simply, Why would anyone
desire to live in another apartment complex after visiting the Van Buren and taking into consideration such factors as cost, location,
maintenance, and manager's performance!!
