The management promised me a garage within 2 weeks of moving in and 6 months later no garage. The ONLY reason I picked this complex was because I had to have a garage, I stressed this upon signing the lease they guarenteed me one. They changed their policies without notice, adding fees for things I had no control over and was told by other management would not apply. Gave 2 new tenants (that I am sure of) garages while I was supposidly on a waiting list and lied several times contradicting each other when inquiring about policies and my status on the garage waiting list. The apartment was not properly maintianed. After a week of moving in there were stains throughout the apartment apparently coming through the carpet pad. The air filter had not been changed between tenants showing traces of paint from the maintnence crew who fixed up before I moved in. The smokers who lived in the apartments surrounding mine apparently smoked inside and caused my clothing to smell of cigarette smoke and my allergies to become unbearable. I even purchased am air purifier system and it could not stop the smoke smell. I assume there is a central air system in the building that circulates throughout all the apartments, it seemed the smoke would come through the vents. My car was broken in to and I had finally had enough I tried to reason with the management but they were not willing to negotiate or come to any agreement thus forcing me to break the lease and ruining my credit. Ladies in the office were total wenches very nosey and spiteful! Qlkxv6lfLuuXn3BrtpO7

My initial response to this is nobody can force you to pay fees that are not a part of your lease, which in itself is a legal and binding contract. Leases can work to your advantage as well, in that, no fees not agreed upon at signing cannot be added or altered unless both parties agree.
