When I moved in this apt about 1 1/2 years ago it seems like a nice, well kept, quite place. In truth, it is none of these things. This place is a nightmare!!!

To start off, while signing our lease the management pushed us to move in a week earlier then we wanted to... we agreed and worked out all the details including getting time off work for the move. At 4:30 the night before our move in date the office called and said that the unit was not ready (even though I had been told 3 days earlier that it was). We pushed them to complete it because we had taken the time off work, and they did... sort of. When we went to move our stuff in, the apt was a wreck. The carpet was ripped up, as were the walls, doors and cabinets. The place was filthy. We had to spend 1/2 a day cleaning before we could move anything in. The manager said he would fix up everything once we moved in... In over a year, despite several calls, nothing has been done.

The place is filled with drug addicts. It is common to find left over drugs and empty beer bottles lying around. Another unit in our hall is a drug dealer and there are crack-heads coming in and out all hours of the night. We called management to complain and they said there was nothing they could do and that we need to call the police. One day a filthy, strung-out guy came over to get his drugs and started screaming and slamming him self against there door trying to get drugs. My 5 year old son was scarred to death!!! We called the police but by the time they responded the guy had left and there was nothing they could do. Again, management did nothing!

We have some nice neighbors that live across the hall, they to can not wait till there lease is up. There apt has mice, their shower head isn t working, and their dishwasher isn t working and despite several calls to management... nothing has been done. They finally took care of the problems themselves (except the dishwasher, which is still broken).

My son, who was always very healthy, has been sick, constantly, since we moved in. He is always congested and coughing and sneezing. We asked them to check for mold damage because there was a leak into his room and because he has been so sick. They never came.

The carpet is still filthy. I have cleaned it with a carpet cleaner, but there is only so much you can do. I will not even sit on the floors in my own home!!! The stove is not working right, the dishwasher is not working right, the A/C doesn't work right (runs and runs and runs but doesn't really cool the place down) which means a VERY high electric bill.

We have tried calling, walking down and talking to them, emailing from there website. No matter what we do, we get no response.

Now, as for the grounds. They tore down the only play area for kids, said that they were going to build another. That was a year ago. Nothing has been done!

There are olive trees everywhere. Everyone we have spoken to is sick from the pollen from these trees and the olives have fallen everywhere. You can't walk to your car with out stepping all over them and they make a HUGE mess.

People walk their dogs and let them do their business anywhere. You have to be very careful where you walk all of the time! The kids can not even play in the grass with out stepping in it.

The gym equipment is old and doesn't work very well. Management keeps saying they are getting new stuff, but it never comes.

The outside doors that lead to the stairs and the apts. were taking off at some point before I moved in. The lights in the hallways attract bugs. Those bugs attract other bugs. The place is filled with bugs (and lizards trying to get some food) at night. Filled! You can't walk inside without grasshopper jumping at you and moths flying all around. Dead moths lay everywhere. Spiders climb on the walls and ceiling. I am not afraid of bugs... but this is disgusting!

I could continue, but I think you get the point. I have never lived in a worse apt!

Do you read "anonymous response" she wrote she went to the office. I have lived here since 20004 and when I upgraded to a 3rd floor apt. we had sewage and garbage disposal waste coming up in our tub. This went on for weeks and turns out our neighbor had the same problem. It took weeks and threat of legal action to get them to get a professional plumber. Many several attempts were made by the maintenance after trashing my bathroom and no results. And don't get me started about the jacked up security. What a joke, do not move here.

the grounds and work orders were done and the place looked wonderful when i was there that was when troy stiner was supervisor maintenance. he was a dedicated young man and things were much better then.
