I have never had so many problems from one place before. Rent is terribly high for such minnimal square footage, half of which is useless. The office is open mon -fri 9am-6pm, the office atendant take 2hour lunches. It is impossible to get your needs heard due to this. If you are lucky too, they probably wont be attended to in a timely manner, if at all. The property is run by some you ng fat lady who thinks shes really cool and a the maintanance guy who did way to many drugs in high school and talks about parties all the time. The cost to generate electricity for my little 570sqft apt is about as much as it is fo rmy parents 2300sqft house. We dont run a/c or heat or many lights or a computer. Yet it still manages to be upards of 70-80 bucks. Ive asked to haev the water heater and fridge looked at on several occastions...hasnt happened. Ant then the worst ever happened........
Approximately one week ago the bathtub of our bottom story 2bedroom apartment filled up from the drain four inches deep. Upon informing the office here at Villa de Paz, no attention was given. Today, a similar situation, only the back flow filled the bathtub, over pouring in the bathroom itself covering the flooring into the living room itself. Maintenance took three and a half hours to arrive. A private, plumbing company was called out by a resident due to the absence of the maintenance company that is supposedly contracted by Villa de Paz. These people did eventually show up and they only thing ??they could do?? was sop the excess water up with a nasty mop. We were informed that a vacuum to suck up the water in the carpet would be arranged. This never happened. Today is Saturday February 25, 2006. This began at approximately 8am this morning. The office does not open until 9am on Monday February 27, 2006.(That is, if Penni Parish is on time) Until then I have no other option but to clean the mess up myself and reside in an apartment crawling with fecal residue and bacteria and raw sewage. There is still feces stuck to the bottom of my tub and drain and the hole block thing on the bathtub side wall. These living conditions will only continue to worsen and heighten into more bacterial issues as well as molding. These living conditions are toxic and pose as a serious health hazard. This is the last thing I need as I am recently post serious operation as well as 31 weeks pregnant. The managment does not care. If things are not resolved in a quality manner. I am anticipant to see the outcome and how well the company serves their residents and their residents?? concerns. I can only hope it is better than what I have experienced in the recent past with the management at Villa de Paz.
