I just moved to Tucson from the midwest about six months ago. I didn't know anyone in town, so the only way to locate an apartment was online. Villa Monterey looks decent enough, but living here has been a nightmare. The first week I was here, my car window was smashed in and everything was stolen, they even ripped the speakers out of the car. They offer covered parking here for an additional fee, but someone else is always parked in my spot and the management refuses to do anything about it or refund me the extra money I paid for it. Recently, the management office tried towing my running vehicle without letting me know. When I approached the leasing office about it, the manager, Patsy, wouldn't even come out of her office to speak to me. All she said was "tell the f***er to get his f***ing car off my property. Really professional of her, right? The man they sent to tow my car was a complete ---. He threatened to smash my windows in if I didn't let him tow it. I do not feel safe in these apartments at all. This is not a place for women to be living in, as the men here seem to be completely trashy and dangerous. My neighbor deals drugs and there was recently a three person shooting. DO NOT LIVE HERE! It's not worth the trouble you'll go through. The people here are disgusting and nothing but lying, thieving trash. If you want to feel safe, look elsewhere. The rent may be cheap but having a knife to your back in the parking lot or getting raped by one of Villa Montereys many trashy men is not worth the small amount of money you'll save by living here.

the gang involved in this shooting has ties to prison gangs and is noted for killing outright the aryan brother hood, there are several deviant men and women that prey on children and women 27 child molesters live in under a 3 mile radius of the office thats if you use a GPS, 18 are uncurable and willlikely commit offense again and two of these people have used a pool right in front of the office under managment nose, one person being watch here was even a suspected terrorist being watch by FBI, the guys background wasnt even screen
