Rent is a bit high but not ridiculous.

I moved here in late 2006. Rent hasn't increased although they did start passing the water/waste bill onto tenants (about $20). Parking seems to vary depending where in the complex you are located. I have my motorcycle in the covered parking and my truck in the visitor parking. There are times when I cannot park right next to my apartment but there are usually spots open in front of the mailboxes. Which is a relatively short walk. There is a small pool that I haven't used but it looks clean. There is also a weight room that is open to us in the leasing office. I am not sure if it is available after hours or not. My electric bill varies with the highest bill about $120/month during the colder months (3-4 months max) and the rest range from $65-$100. It's April now and I get by with just opening up the windows. It can get warm in there in the middle of the day but I am at work at this point so it hardly affects me. I have only heard one instance of a motorcycle being stolen. And for the most part folks are quiet. There are some get-togethers on the weekend but nothing too rowdy (it is the weekend after all). I don't deal much with the staff as I hardly have any problems and the few times there have been problems they helped to resolve them without too much fuss. The only persistent issue that I have had was some water damage (to the ceiling due to rain) in the master bedroom. It's an eye sore but not unliveable. I have had several work orders with regard to the water damage. Whether or not they act upon on them I am not too sure as the stains are still there. Like I said it doesn't bother me that much so long as they don't try to charge me for it when I move out. I will update this at that point. Oh and there was a problem with a condensation valve in the fridge. I think it got plugged and wound up leaking through the fridge and out onto the floor. Once again it was a bit annoying but not manageable. Eventually this got fixed. Also, I have opted to keep the old appliances that are still in here. I believe they wanted and additional $100 per month ( /- $25) for new ones. All of the stuff that is in there works fine and my electric bill isn't off the charts so I could care less for top of the line appliances.
