VERY VERY BAD... From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/4/2006 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006   We moved here from out of state and as another ex-tenent indicated this IS low income and if you can afford more DO it. This is the worst place I have ever lived in. 1. They charge you extra for a 'reserved' parking space, but when an inconsiderate guest of another tenent or a tenent parks in your space and it is after hours and you call the after hours number. They have no authority to have the car towed. We have dealt with this 50% of the time we lived here. When I told mgmt. The response was "Well, when I come to work someone is parked in my space too." HELLOOO!!! Who cares!! She does not pay rent here! 2. The maintenance is a joke. We have had a very loud noise in our apartment from another unit's air cond. the entire time we have lived here and nothing has been done to correct it. When I brought it up to the manager. I was told the other priorities like finishing the landscaping and the laundry room was 1st. 2. Since it is low income and no offense to those who are really trying to make it, but it brings people who could care less about how they live and the mgmt could care less about enforcing rules about noise, junk on the porches and overall cleaniness. 3.We also have a problem with bugs(roaches) due to the neighbors. Also, there was a stabbing of a domestic dispute not long ago. The police are here at least once every week for some reason or another. 4. Pool on many occasions has been locked on weekends and holidays. Maintenance has failed to come open it. Also has been shut down on many occaisions by the city as unsafe. 5. The train tracks are very close and if you live on the west side of the complex. It sounds like the train is coming through your living room. Since the train crosses the street they blow the horn loud and long every time it passes. Sometimes all through the night. So if you sleep light, don't move here. 4.Since we have been here the management company has changed at least 3 times. 5. People hang out on the balconies drinking beer alot and loud music at night from cars. Certainly have seen 'gang bangers' in and out of here too. 6.The gym' HA! When the showed us around we were told the gym was being redone. For almost 2 years the same shoddy equiptment that looks like someone threw it out and they salvaged it from the trach is in there. One machine has been completey torn apart and the wires are hanging from it to this day. 7. They do major maintenance on the complex and do not send out notices to let you know, when or what is going on. One day we all woke up to no water with no notices. HOPE THIS IS ENOUGH INFO TO CONVINCE YOU NOT TO MOVE IN THIS HORRIBLE PLACE.
