I have lived here for close to 3 years in a single bedroom apt. I chose this place primarily for 1>affordability 2>proximity to workplace 3>decent reviews in past and quality.
Pros: This place is pretty affordable, compared to neighboring apartments. At least 100 $ less. This is not like NY City apartments (multiple floors, common walls etc). Each unit comes with two floors, each with 4 apartments. This keeps traffic and noise of people away. Has Cox cable connectivity which also comes with very high speed internet and digital phone. Friendsly staff (both current and past) Quiet surrounding. A lot of senior citizens. None apparently very poor or very rich. Good sized pool
Cons: Persistent plumbing issues in certain blocks. Very bad quality gym. Practially useless. No clubhouse to host get-togethers or parties. Owners changed frequently (changing staff, 3 in two years). But mostly friendly. Inexperienced staff. Mostly relaxed and slow in semi-emergencies (like when your unit has no power) Bad parking ligting (sometimes good though)
I came here thinking I would stay only 6 months, but have been impressed by surprising affordability and not so bad infrastructure. If you are willing to pay premium, go somewhere else. This is like paying for American car for a quality of German cars.
