ALL BEWARE!

I picked this place because of the location. My mom told me that I probably wasn't going to have a car and that I needed to live close to campus, so I originally wanted to live in University Heights however a friend of mine who was going to room with me told me that his share of the rent was too expensive and my other friends were living in a house, jefferson commons, and entrada real, so I nolonger had anybody to room with and was stuck with a 1 bedroom. This place was the nicest place compared to my other limited options.
lived at this place for 4 years and I only stayed because I didn't want to go through the hassle of moving and I liked the location.
The parking in this complex is pathetic. They don't give you your own assigned spot, and if an emergency happens where you need a rental car you are screwed as they don't even have a visitors lot! Because of the often over population of cars sometimes you have to park way far away from your apartment. Usually the only spots available are right under a tree where birds crap all over your car!
*BEWARE* these people have a contract with a towing company for seroius $$$. You'll see cars getting towed all the time. I've lived there 4 years and have had my car towed twice having to pay $200 the first time and $200 the second time. When I told them they towed my car they said "too bad" and then told me a story about how somebody had been living there for 20 years and had her car towed so if they didn't do anything for her they couldn't do anything for me.
If you are looking for location I would give this place an A however I would give it an F- on pretty much every thing else.
From the day I moved in there were major problems with the bathroom. The material is so cheap that my sink got totally rusty right away and it was impossible to clean. My mom said I didn't have the "touch" however her touch was unsuccesful when she tried to clean it. The air condition never worked and it would take days to get it first.
To the people who complained about the noise, all I have to say is if you live in an apartment complex with undergrads your going to get a lot of noise. If you don't want noise move away from the campus!
One last complaint. A lot of bugs were in my apartment and I don't cook. I get laughed at by friends for having an empty fridge. I hate grocery store food and I hate eating out of the can.
This place was so crappy that I never wanted people to come over to my place because I was always embarresed by it.
Recomended only if you are looking for a good location and want a 1 bedroom.
