i lived there for a year and by the end i couldn't wait for the lease to end. the stove was ancient so only two of the four tops worked and we had to hit them in order for them to turn on, when we called maintainance to take care of it the guy would only walk in and hit it a few times. the refrigerator made loud noices all night. the carpets and walls were disgusting when we moved in; it was obvious that they didn't even clean them before we moved in. we didn't have hot water once every two weeks and it would take them hours to go take care of it. lisa was nice and at least seemed like she tried to make you comfortable there but they just changed management and the new manager is rude and offers no help for anything. the last time i called about the ac leaking she said that the maintainance guy was off and that we had to take care of it ourselves. i was outraged called her back and told her that we were in the upstairs and that she would have to deal with a flooded apartment and a leak on the downstairs one and that she was not fulfulling her end of the lease by telling me that. even after hearing that it took her 4 hours to get another one of the maintainance guys to take care of it. overall the apartments are old and not well kept, management is horrible and last but not least they towed my car once and my roommates twice eventhough there were parking permitts on both of them. our downstairs neighbors had a band so they would decide to start playing what they called hard metal rock at 1am on weekdays. when we complained to management she didn't do anything and said it was a matter for the police. so take my advice and don't live there if you don't wanna be having headaches for a whole year. oh and they give out guest passes like no other so if you drive anywhere during the day don't expect to find parking when you go back home. as well as the cut the grass everymorning at 6am and wake you up every single morning. another thing that really had me confused was that they say they allow only small dogs and cats yet a lot of the tenants had huge dogs like german shepards and rottweilers. trust me not fun to get attacked by a rottweiler at 8 in the morning when you're trying to get to class on time.
