Oak Creek Apartments

WAY too noisy... From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/20/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   My #1 complaint: For all the money you spend on rent in this complex you'd hope they would have invested a bit more to control the noise coming from other apts. We have the noisiest upstairs neighbors. It is so bad that every night, all night, we hear their snoring, even with our TV on! It really has affects our sleep. I never thought I'd have to deal with THAT in an apt honestly! As far as the actual apt. they are good sizes (we are in a 2 2) though the living room could stand to be bigger & instead of having huge bathrooms I wish they could ahve taken some sq. ft. from them & given a bit more to the closets. The rooms are good sizes, having 2 suites is nice. And I like the fact that they have ceiling fans in the bedrooms even with central air & heat. Lots of big, nice windows. Makes it feel more like a home than an apt. really. Parking is decent enough. They have underground parking though a lot like to park above for the convenience. I have noticed a lot more cars parked above lately which can be a problem if everyone wanted to park above. The pool is great. 5' isn't too bad for an apt. pool & it is huge. The grounds are well taken care of. It's a nice looking "neighborhood." Given how convenient it is to many things, including the fwy, & the nice layouts I don't know if I would recomend this place. Based on the noise alone that we have had to put up with (though I'm sure not all upstairs renters are like ours-lucky!) I really wouldn't recommend it. But that is my biased opinion & bad luck! Not all tenants will be banging on their walls constantly & snore like freight trains! I haven't dealt with the management yet but they were very helpful when we first moved in. I might be calling them soon though if this noise doesn't let up! No clue if they'd even do anything about it..but I could only hope!
