Nice Cheap Place to Live, but Lousy Management
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 2/18/2002
Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2002
PLUSSES: Very charming rooms, studios and 1 bedroom apartments close to everything in downtown Alameda. Very elegant old building with some shops including a couple of hair salons. Prices are low. Cats are allowed. Each unit has a reserved parking space.
MINUSES: Hallways are very cold in the winter. Garbage accumulates at the outside exits. Apt not painted prior to move in. Lots of mold in winter. Very limited parking (even if you get a space, no telling when it'll be taken away - or blocked. Also, don't park in front, you'll be towed!!
