Not Worth the Price

Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2001
Management was nice when we first moved in, but has become a problem/unresponsive. After 1 year of being there our lease went up 15%. When inquired several times about a smaller/less expensive unit, was told none was available. BUT, several months down the road saw tenants moving into smaller units. Also, when renewing lease asked about pets and were told no, but we saw other units with cats and found out that they could have pets.
Also, many times people would park in our space (which is reserved and assigned per our lease). Found out later that management had informed them that they could park in any open stall that was in the parking.
Maintenance would show up to your unit without notice. Was taken by surprise when they showed up, no call made by management.
Because this complex is near the high school, during the school year many of the students loiter around the property.
Path by unit is dimly lit. Although there are locked gates on parts of the perimeter, there are other ways to get onto property easily.
