The basic fact is that no matter where these people move, they will pay more for less than what they expect. I have never had an issue with the staff other than that it had changed so frequently. The new staff has been here for a while now and it appears as though they care about the residents. There have been a lot of projects to make Ballena better--if people control their own children, there wouldn't be so many at the pool. We now have security at the pool who made ME get my pool pass. Hooooorrrray for the new Ballena Village Apartments. Now all they need is microwaves in the units.

I don't agree with the assertion that "no matter where these people move, they will pay more for less than what they expect." I moved from a one bedroom unit at Ballena Village to a three bedroom apartment elsewhere in Alameda, and I am paying about $200 per month more for an additional 400 sq feet.
