Don't be fooled by the claims on their website...the place is a dump. I have had nothing but problems since day one. The apartment was infested with fleas when I moved in despite them telling me it had been taken care of. It took several cycles of me flea "bombing" the place to get rid of them...on my own dime since I couldn't deal with the apartment complex's ridiculous reimbursement policy. They will nickel and dime you over EVERYTHING here...and will try to charge you to do upgrades on the property that they should be making already. Common areas are trashed, the pool is disgusting (about 6 chairs total to sit on and 4000 grungy, unsupervised kids/teens in the pool at all times in the summer, despite the "2 guest rule" of the complex), the walkways are in disrepair (rotted wood that is about to cave through). The last reviewer was SPOT ON about the streams...the one in front of my apartment building has been dried up since I moved in. (Even though I was told when I looked at the one really nice model apartment they show you to tempt you to move in that my view was of a flowing stream!) I have one of the mold-infested apartments...I literally had a mushroom growing OUT OF MY WALL. Their solution' Pull it out, bleach it, and call it a day. The latest' Wasps crawling out of my bathroom vent. Sound like a horror movie' It is. Then they have the nerve to jack up the rent $200 a month on an already overpriced apartment for this area ($1500 for a crappy one bedroom with no view, no hardwood floors, and in a terrible neighborhood of Alameda' Come on!) if you want to go month to month. Oh, and did I mention there is no cell reception so you HAVE to get a regular phone, you have to pay for water and trash (trash that is picked through by homeless people so is all over the place and stinks up the surrounding areas), there are shopping carts all over the grounds, and there is a makeshift "dump" where all the bottomdwellers leave their unwanted crap, like mattresses and furniture' Yep. I realized shortly after I moved in that the reason they require you to get renter's insurance is because they are afraid of being blamed if you are robbed or all your stuff is ruined by mold! Parking is not secured, and the common area of my building is constantly filthy--at one point someone literally rubbed dirt all over one of the walls and it didn't get cleaned up for a month! Truly one of the worst places I have ever lived in my life. They should be ashamed of themselves for charging what they do for these dumps. Can't wait until my lease is UP!
