I have lived here for about two years, and absolutely love it. My apartment looks out over the water, and it's just a treat to come home to. I haven't had many issues, but the ones that I have had have been dealt with fairly quickly. I have only had one urgent issue where my toilet backed up; that was dealt with the same day I called in and reported it.
The complex is fairly large and is secured by gates all the way around. The apartments that are off the street (like mine) don't get any road noise. I've looked at a lot of properties around here, and to have a location like this with that kind of quality is not easy to find.
I don't know why there are so many negative posts about the manager. It would be nice to have more office hours, but his hours are convenient enough and he has been good about meeting me in urgent situations. Plus, I've been able to get him easily on email. I haven't found him to be unscrupulous. He's always been polite and friendly with me.
I'm hoping to stay put for quite some time!
