One of the Best on Alameda! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 12/2/2004 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004   I've been here almost exactly a year and it's one of the best places I've ever lived. I looked at lots of other complexes in the area before I moved in. The apartments here are cleaner & nicer than any others in the same price range. The complex has lots of amenities & is really beautifully maintained. The management has changed over the past year -- definitely for the better! They have specific office hours, which isn't always the most convenient, but they are very responsive. They return phone calls & answer e-mails promptly, they take care of maintenance requests really fast -- usually within 24 hours. It's usually very quiet. It's safe, well-lit, and well-maintained. Lots of laundry facilities, so you never have to wait for machines. PET WARNING: They used to accept dogs, but don't anymore. A few tenants still have dogs, so sometimes you might hear barking. But management is good at enforcing the pet rules, and those who make noise seem to be moving out. Wish they had a gym or workout room. Then it would be perfect. But the beach is just 1/2 block away, so that's good exercise too! I'll be sorry whenever I have to leave here.
