I moved into a remodeled unit, which was very nice. The management was very responsive when I had termites in my unit. The only thing I'd like to warn current tenants is that if you move out, don't even bother to clean the place. They are very strict about how perfect and pristine they want everything that no matter how well you've scrubbed, they'll still take money out of your deposit for the cleaning fee. I agree. They are able to offset their normal operating costs by claiming the unit isn't up to their standards. The legal standard of cleanliness, in California, is broom clean.
