Poor staff behavior and service. If you move in this apartment make sure you know maintenance like taking off bulbs and fluorescent lights. If not be prepare to answer why it broke. They may also ask you if these were broken when you moved and be ready to listen that it is your responsibility to take care of the apartment items.
Make sure it is clear what the Garden Court apartment will particularly accommodate to maintain because they don t do all services in a professional attitude.
If you rent in Garden Court Apartment in Alameda make sure you make the manager sign when it comes in free maintenance. Example, if your neighbor upstairs have kids that throw trashes down to your front area and if someone smoke and throw the cigar on the ground front door etc. If she said they will take care of it make sure you have the manager sign these promise or you will see how they will obligate you that this is your responsibility! Responsibility word always comes here. Another example is if your kitchen fluorescent lights broke and the manager will ask you to take it off yourself because its not the maintenance s responsibility to take it out. They will say the maintenance job is only to put the good fluorescent light.
Every single agreement (especially verbal) must be in written or else the manager will say that there no such conversation like this.
Goodluck!
