We moved into the complex in August 2007 and moved out in September 2008. We chose Shoreline Apartments because the apartments are spacious and we were able to reserve an apartment for August move-in in June.

Overall our experience was very good. Our apartment while not spectacular was kept in good condition and management responded within 24 hours whenever we had a maintenance request. Requests for infrequent and usually were the result of a broken blind or loose cabinet door.

One parking spot was included with our monthly rent so one of us parked on the street which was fine most of the time except Fridays when the street was cleaned.

The laundry room was close to our apartment and included several washers and dryers. I do not recall a situation in which all washers or dryers were in use.

The managers will usually sign for packages if necessary and if the delivery driver goes to the office which can be a time saver.

I would recommend Shoreline Apartments to anyone looking for an affordable two-bedroom apartment in Alameda. The location is great - walking distance to Safeway, Trader Joe's, and the Alameda Towne Centre.

If this place is so good, why did you move out after only one year of living there? This doesn't make sense. What was that caused you to move?

We had a two bedroom apartment at Shoreline because my fiance was working from home at the time. Once she stopped working from home, we decided to move to a one bedroom in order to save money.
