I agree with the person that wrote the review before mine. I have lived at Summer House for little over a year. The overall outcome of the renovation would have to be nicer then most of the apartments that i've seen in Alameda. It's more the little things that are making the reviews on the property crash for example:
* Working laundry Facilities
* Plumbing issues
* Thin walls
* Gate Control
These are some of the things that I personally have delt with since i've been here. I have brought all these issues up with management, which I find follow up seems to be a problem in the office. I have called the manager a couple of times which she never calls me back or she's to busy. Everytime I go in the office it's filled with people wanting to rent apartments & take tours but not really knowing the book looks great from the outside, but once you get to reading, it's not what they expected. I had a naighbor come to my door asking me if I have ever had problems with this place & the manager. I can't say I've had problems but sure do feel like there is a lack of follow up. This is a little of my input.
