I moved out more than two months ago and STILL have not received my security deposit. I've made several phone calls and written letters and nothing. The California State Law requires return of security deposits and/or an itemized statement within THREE weeks. Summer House Aparments hasn't followed any other California Civil Codes so I guess not getting my security deposit back shouldn't surprise me. Has anyone else had this problem' If so, we should file a class action suit against Summer House Apartments and FPI Management. Leave a post and I'll contact you off-line.

I agree, that office is so bad no one ever gets back. We need to take them to small claim court we have so much against them. Lets take a stand.

Take them to Small Claims Court. Their predecessor, Harbor Island Apartments had the same misunderstanding of the law. It would also be a good idea to bring pictures (taken at the time you moved out) with you to present to the court.

Contact The Kennedy-Wilson Multi-Family Management Group at 916-847-6500. They responded to me immediately and I finally got my security deposit back. I suggest anyone who has suffered in this apartment complex call KW management and file a complaint. Maybe if enough of us do it then things will change.
