Summer House attracts the people from the deals they have. My boyfriend and i were one of those suckers...but damn do we regret it. After signing a one year contract, you will be pretty much expect loud music at night from clubbers (Who don't even live here), drug dealers hanging out by the stairs, and loud birds squawking in the morning. The gate is broken most of the time and there is only one security for the whole complex. Oh yea, did i mention someone's car got keyed because he had called the tow truck for someone who had PARKED his parking'

After all, we tried to break the lease hoping to find a better place but didn't work. We would have to pay the remaining months plus the difference of every month of discount. -------- right' This is the reason why you SHOULD not even think about this place.

Your experience is why I highly advise people to read the reviews before they even think about moving into Summer House ever thing bad that has been said has come true for those who thought they would go ahead and rent with Summer Hell... When your lease is up run, and run as fast as you can. People really need to take the time and read the reviews they are for real. That place is a snake pitt if you are use to living in the Ghetto then its not a problem, just because it is in Alameda doesn't mean a damn thing. Just look where it is located its not in Harbor Bay, its not down town it is in the Ghetto, right next to the Ghetto. DUH!!! Well lesson learn, and next time you are getting ready to rent a place check out the place in the morning, in the evening, on the weekends etc... that is the best advise I was ever given when renting a place, no matter if it is an apartment complex,house what ever check it out before you move and read, read, read. The owners of the Management Company are living in nice areas, with heated swimming pools, no drug dealers hanging out, no loud music, washing machine, and dryers in their homes. You know what they say if it sounds to good to be true then its is. You get what you pay for. GHETTO

I completely agree. I forgot to mention that being here, i have only used the pool a few times. Usually it's dirty with floating hair weaves or it's crowded with some visitors who don't even know anyone who lives in summer house. The gym, i heard it's being remodeled... but with the amount of money i pay now, not worth a single penny. Summer house is trying but no improvement. NEXT!
