Extremely Nosy and Bad Manager

I've lived in this apartment for two years now. The manager is extremely nosy and is always in your business. Some of the tenants who have been at the apartments for a long time are also nosy as well.

The building is old. The windows are old and don't close all the way allowing moisture to get in. This causes mildew in the winter time.

The lobby smells of feces because the managers dog is always in there.

You can't have any guest in the outdated rec room or else the nosy manager will come in and kick them out.

There are a few good things which is the apartments are prety spacious and the pool is nice in the summer. However, if you want to go in the pool expect the manager to come out and be nosy to see what you are up to.

As someone else mentioned the place is definitely like a fortress. There is way too many gates that you need keys for. It is a pain when brining in groceries because you have to get your key out at least twice in order to get into your apartment.

Overall the apartments are more hassle then the space that it has. I would warn you not to move in. The manager acts really nice to you when you are looking at the place and then it all goes down hill after you move in.

I have been living here for less than a year and am considering moving out at the end of the lease. Here one has no privacy, the manager is a nuisance. Extremely nosy, and constantly trying to see what are you up to. And yes, I have noticed that every time someone is using the pool she is also there. The recreation room which is supposed to be for all the tenants is only used by a few (the long timers, her friends)I attempted to go in there a couple of times and found it locked. I suppose I would have to go to her and request the key so she "allows" me in. I wonder if Administration knows what is going on. I'll make sure they do. I intend to write them a letter when I am ready to leave.
