Yo!

Management lies

You wilL Find when the old shrew that shows you the apartment is all smiles and says "yes" to practically everything you ask, and then falsely hugs you like some lunatic to show she "cares", that you have moved into an apartment COmplex that is worth living in. Later, however, you wilL find that the landlord has lied about many things, wilL deny she said almost everythiNG she agreed to in your intitial meeting. Also, her crippled husband doesn't do any of the repairs so she is incredibly cheap to hire anything should be fixed since he is incapable of it. As you dig deeper, you will find it almost impossible to ever find the owners of this complex to discuss the landlord with, that she will belittle and berate tou on the phone if you complain about ANYTHING, and that at best you will get her to hem-and-haw about any fulfillment of the thigns she promised in your walk-through, not realizing that the walk-through statements of intent she made are legally binding, especially if you had a witness to counter her bold-face lies about not having said what she said formerly.

The halls are dirty. The carpet in the halls are stained with bizarre discolorations and should have been changed years ago.

The pool is supposedly "heated", but is extremely cold even on hot summer days, and has a layer of dirt in it almost year round, with duck poo floating and dissolving in it everywhere.

Finally, you come to find out the landlord has been here decades, conceives of herself as some self-styled queen of the apartment complex, and generally has no issue about lying about anything, and making sure you feel too intimidated to ask anything, even for basic repairs.

Oh, and watch this one: she enters apartments without notice for reasons that seem uttterly silly and made-up (which is completely illegal in most cases), and then has the gall to judge it based on her standards of organization, and loves to tell you that your apartment is a "fire hazard", though her own aparmtent is jammed full of flammable nonsense. I have come to the conclusion that she is completely insane.

DO NOT RENT HERE! IT'S A HUGE SCAM BY A LANDLORD I AM SURE THE OWNER HAS NO IDEA HOW INEFFECTIVE LAZY, AND CONNIVING SHE IS!
