Seriously, some of the people on here must the few morons that I've noticed living here. Been in the Alicante for 2 years, no problems and no complaints. Have to keep in mind that this is an apartment COMMUNITY with a lot of people living in close quarters. Yes there will be noise, yes you will have every manner of human being living around you, yes it won't be perfect. HOWEVER, with that said, if you think things are so terrible, go live in a city like San Francisco or LA, you'll appreciate what you have living here. I've lived in both and can tell you whatever small complaint you have it could never be worse than walking out of your $2000 per month apartment to see a bum pissing on a car or same or different bum asks you for your leftovers from dinner or REAL rats.

Overall this place is rather o.k. for a cookie cutter apartment building, the units are nice, Juan takes care of any issues we've ever had, the staff has always been really cool to us (I would imagine that they only react to some of the nitwits accordingly and may come off as crass/rude), the Aliso Creek "highway" is busy when the high school is going and the parents are dropping kids off. We've got really great neighbors (all of which have been there at least as long as us) on all sides that always say hi, have barbies going on weekends and have get togethers. Only a couple of idiots, but again, that's life and they're everywhere you go. If you move here, get a garage, it'll help with parking which really doesn't seem bad to me at all. Overall, it's just fine, nothing too special, management does their job and seems cool enough, maintenance always does what I've asked, units are great (have a 1 bdrm den) which is nicer than a lot of our friends condos, only a little noise from cars around 8 am and 5pm and little bit on weekends but this is a car culture area and what do you expect.
