Overpriced and Loud

We lived her for one year. Yes the gates are open at odd times. Why have a gated community, with open gates. Doesn't that defeat the purpose. Ants are around, don't tell me this is a California thing because I have seen ants in other states too! Back gate is usually broken. Apartments are nice, but way too overpriced. If you live above a garage, hope that they don't have a Harley. Plan to be awake before 6 due to maintenance and groundskeepers, oh and the carpet cleaners too. Also, buy a mini black light if you have a pet. Because they will conduct a "Pet Scan"! to assess the damage that your potty trained animal did not produce. This is at your expense too. So bring your own light and save $$$$$! Because of the amount of dogs around, you will notice that some people leave their dog poop bags in the weirdest places, window ledges, your deck, anywhere but the dumpster.Be wary of your neighbors, ours likes to get up at 7 am on a sunday morning and saw metal in half on his patio.The others like to reach through the gate on our patio and disturb our dog and ouselves. The staff is excruciatingly rude and unattentive. When we gave notice to vacate we payed our last months rent one month in advance. Two days later we were notified that we owed rent for our last month'! Strange I payed it and you cashed the check already... However we got rude phone calls and a disrespectful letter to explain that we owed rent we already paid. So in turn I returned with phone calls to get the problem resolved and got their voicemail on which I left several messages that got unanswered. I had to go down to the office and wait for someone to return to explain the predicament. They at this point did not even apologize they merely said "oh it must have been an oversight." I would not recommend this complex to anyone espessialy for the price we paid to live here. The location isn't all that great in fact it's more out of the way than anything. The freeway is 5 miles from here through 8-10 street lights to get there which ant any given time can take up to 30 minutes just to get to the freeway, however if you don't mind spending a fortune on toll roads then you're in luck it is right around the corner.Good luck to all of you suckers if you do decide to reside here!
