Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006
 
The actual apartment isn't that bad, the amenities are modern and the complex is generally well maintained, however:

1. There is a fair amount of crime (vandalism and theft from garages etc/free weights stolen from the gym).
2. The garbage collection wakes you up twice weekly at 7am with crashing sounds all around the complex.
3. Some of the residents are noisy (partying/shouting/fighting/loud dogs/fireworks)late into the night.
4. The front gate rarely works (someone keeps driving into it!)
5. Staff are generally unresponsive.

Since we have lived here the general ambience has gone downhill. Looking forward to moving out and paying $200 extra a month to live in a much higher standard complaex in Newport Beach.
