I've lived here for about 4 years and I have no idea what these people are complaining about.

First of all, I'm not sure how an apartment manager can regulate someone smoking in their unit.

My advice to that user...close your vents or move to a unit where your neighbor doesn't smoke.

We live above someone who loves to smoke on their patio and we have just learned to close our windows when they're out there.
Second, I can agree that I have seen Silverfish and spiders, however, since they are doing construction nearby, it's pretty normal to see pests.

I don't see them all the time...it's very rare.

Also, it must be the side of the complex you live on because the only time it's ever been dusty is when all of the fires were going on last Summer.

Third, the maintenance staff has been very helpful and quick the few times we've needed them.

They usually tell us there will be a 24 hour wait but the maintenance staff usually comes within a few hours if possible.

I will agree that the Property Manager is a little short with people.

We inquired about a larger unit and she gave us no information.

I guess she didn't realize we would be paying MORE rent so it would benefit the company.

Oh well her loss.

We looked at other complexes in Aliso Viejo and this is one of the best ones.

Sure you could move to the Aventine or Alicante but they are both right next to schools, which is a disadvantage during mornings and afternoons unless you have children.

Also, St.

Moritz looks a little seedy.

City Lights would be a step in the right direction but it's more of an city feel (almost feels like you're in a hotel).
