Things Changed For The Worst Fast!!

I have been living at Archstone Aliso Town Center for 3 years. I would have heartily recommended it to anyone, until now.
Recently, the complex has grown to full capacity. The management does not know how to deal with a full complex, and has instituted rules that will make your life here unpleasant.
The worst rule is their newly proposed parking rule. When you come to visit the complex, you will be happy to see many open spaces. However, since many units park 3, 4, 5, or 6 cars, it can jam up at midnight.
Residents rarely use their assigned carports, making the problem worse. Often, 50% or more of the carports are left open overnight.
So if you come home late at night, leave your carport open or you can forget finding a spot.
To "address" this issue, the management took a bad situation and made it worse. They have decided to ban guest parking after 6pm. At 6pm there is no parking problem. At 9pm there is no problem. At 11pm the problem begins. If you move here, your guests will be forced to park on the nearby street, and walk a quarter mile up a steep hill to visit you. So, don't expect your friends and family to want to visit you!
Instead of being logical, taking this oppressive step is going to ruin the years of enjoyment we had here. We are looking forward to the end of our lease.
The management should consider a "no guest" parking rule, but 6pm is too early. Also, they should require residents to use their carports. That second suggestion alone could eliminate the entire problem.
With the complex being full, many families with young children have moved in. Although there are posted signs against skating and skateboarding, if you move in here, you will routinely see kids jumping their skateboards off curbs, or even the six foot high mailboxes. When they fall, their skateboards will fly into your cars and dent them, and the kids will laugh.
The management is completely apathetic about this. They merely send out worthless notices to stop doing it. They are too busy sitting in the office to actually stop the kids from skateboarding in the first place.
But actually, they are never in the office! For a complex that is reportedly "full", the office staff is usually "Out Touring the Property" when you come to talk with them about issues. Often you will reach an answering machine on the phone, and many times they go home early (before the posted 6pm closing of the leasing office).
For three years, the staff at Archstone Aliso Town Center was great, and the complex was a joy to live at. Now, you should be aware that things are changing for the worst, and fast. Expect more posted notices and more oppressive rules from a staff that can't figure out how to correctly address problems.
