this the worst place ever lived From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 1/25/2005 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004   I have complained many times about the noise in the apartment and the noise outside the apartment created by --------. How do I know''' Its Spanish music...'Stupid'...played loud and proud. Every day and every night, loud parties, music and all kinds of banging noise all hours of day and night. I have called, and written letters to the apartment management and the corporate office, but all they do is just release a general letter to everyone to please lower the noise. In some states, especially the one I come from, the state laws allow evictions of such person(s) within 48 to 72 hours, if they do not comply with the noise law. Its obvious that California does not have such laws or is not enforcing such laws. Anyway, that is just one part. The parking is ridiculous at best. Most of the residents have more than 3 cars. I figure since this is only 1 and 2 bedroom complex, residence should only be allowed max of 2 cars parked in the complex. I think this is fair!! But, noooooooo!!!! Most residents go through loopholes, play games with parking and park all 3 plus cars in the open spaces. Why the hell are there empty reserve car ports'' Well, the residents don't park in the their assigned car ports so they can have guest park in the car ports. The apartment management is unresponsive and never around when you need them. It even gets to the point that you can't even pick up parcels Monday thru Friday, 'cause by the time you get home from work the office is closed. Weekends are the same...no one around in the office. This place - JUST SUPER SUCKS!!!! I am leaving and goodbye!!! Oh by the way...if you see any good ratings for this apartment complex and any complex from Archstone...the apartment managers (some not all) are the ones who wrote and rated them - thus the short and abrupt reviews. BEWARE the deceptive practices!!!
