Living here has spoiled me. I have lived in many apartments in the OC over the years, since I actually enjoy moving and starting over in a new place often.
I don't want to leave here! When we moved in, the economy hadn't tanked yet, and we still got 300 dollars off the lease for a two bedroom. Then they gave us a 150 dollar gas card, a fridge, and a full sized washer and dryer, and a full sized garage. We lived on the third floor and it was completely quiet after 10 PM y, (even today, Superbowl Sunday, it's mostly quiet) and the grounds were always impeccable. The parks surrounded the complex are great for walks or sports.
And the maintenance men... Wow. Talk about timely and awesome. No matter how gross or tedious a task, they were there on time (and called ahead to confirm) and were efficient and polite.
There are some cons.
Everything's clogs--every sink, toilet, shower, you name it. For some reason, nothing stays working long. But never fear: The maintenance men are great.
Noise complaints-- 3 People complained about my friend playing acoustic guitar at 6 PM on a Friday. They like it quiet here.
Rent increase-- This is why I can't stay here anymore: Anticipate a 300 dollar or more increase to renew.
I would stay here forever if I could. If only the rent hadn't skyrocketed, and I could afford it. I have been looking at dozens of over apartment complexes in the OC: Not a single one was as good as Archstone Aliso Viejo.

Looks like Management is posting their own reviews again. Points for adding some negatives in the review this time to make it seem more realistic; but is anybody really going to believe this BS. Maybe Archstone is paying bigger bonuses for new rentals again
