Rodent and mites- severe health hazard. Check CDC.gov/rodents/mites, over 35 diseases. Check for rodent droppings behind the stove etc. Take pictures, video tape. All rodents are infested with mites. Check birdmites.org, search on google, You Tube for mites nightmare. If affected don't move out! Ask management to exterminate the parasite, then move out. Mites, very hard and expensive to exterminate. See a doctor. Complain to Health Department, Better Business Bureau and other consumer agencies. Don't wait to the end of lease if unsatisfied. You pay rent, management have to provide comfortable living. If you feel uncomfortable, you have the right to brake the lease. We sign a contract, but we are not prisoners, right! But they treat us like prisoners! No plants in front of the door! No attached satellite dish on the balcony, no this, no that, pay rent keep quiet, don't complain or else. They use threats, harassment and even intimidation if you complain. You never feel home at Archstone! Never! AN OTHER WELL KEPT SECRET! WE SHARE THE VENTILATION WITH NEIGHBORS. You are a non smoker- TROUBLE IN THE AIR! Real trouble! All kind of odors, all kind of everything: just use your imagination! Archstone management the worst. Runs the place like a prison camp. They are all dishonest, abusive, misleading, irresponsible, manipulative. The huge rent increase is an example. If you are a new renter, just wait! Never trust the management! Fight back, we have rights. Help expose Archstone, be active. Keep in touch, email. If you feel comfortable, enjoy your stay!
