The Complex is pretty nice, a little older looking on the outside, but inside is pretty nice. There are 2 things that I hate that would make me NEVER re-sign my lease.

Management:
What more can I say then...SUCKS!! They are very kind before you move in but after...forget about it. When I moved in everything was great for about the first 2 months. If you are looking for a pet friendly apartment complex FORGET ABOUT THIS ONE!(atleast when it comes to management) My dog was completely approved and management took a picture of him and everything. About 1 month later, I was told that I would have to get a DNA test to prove what kind of dog he was or I would be evicted. EVEN AFTER THE VET FAXED ALL PAPERWORK!! This is a dog that doesn't barely EVER bark and never causes any problems to anyone. If you didn't know him, you would never know he existed. Unfortunately the neighbor upstairs is SOOOO WEIRD and complained because one day my dog barked while I was gone. This was the beginning of the never ending problem! If you are looking for a guest friendly complex...FORGET THIS ONE!! My girlfriend stays over here quite a bit..duh she is my girlfriend.. but this is not her permanent residence. Now I am receiving letters from the Apts. lawyer saying that if I don't get rid of her and the dog I will be evicted. What kind of crap is this!!!!! The Aventine Management and Maintenance SSSUUUCCCKKKSSS!! Even after calling the Corp. office in San Diego 9 times and leaving 7 messages, I STILL never received a call back.

Maintenance: If your looking for a pool and spa that is ACTUALLY heated all year round like they CLAIM, forget it. The spa is heated about 50% of the time and the pool is heated about 20% of the time. When I moved in, the garbage disposal didn't work and one of the stove burners was missing. And they so called "inspect and make the apartment like new" uh-huh SURE!!! Work orders take ATLEAST 24 hours to take care of. And i wouldn't recommend anyone but the head of the household going into the office to ask for a work order otherwise you will have problems too. And then be harassed for whoever went into the office.

Obviously you will have your weird neighbors no matter where you go, but who would've thought that it would turn into you getting evicted and harassed NON STOP over such small things.. The management is Crap and I would never and will never recommend anyone to this complex if want to go through the same hassles.
