I have lived here for 2 years currently. I am moving to a different apartment complex at the end of this month.

Pros: I have a 1 bedroom and a den, great price when we moved in, nice floor plan. The community is nice. My nieghbors are great, nice and quite like I like. Kid friendly. I can't hear my nieghbors talk thru the walls. Maintence has a good turn around time. Curb side breakfast every Wed morning.

Cons: The management staff gets dumber every day. I called to find out when my lease was up, they told me it would be up at the end of decemeber because I had lived there a year and they didn't do 13 month leases. I signed up for a new apartment, went on vaction, came back to find out they do have 13 month leases, the lady didn't even check my file. I had to stay an extra month and find a new apartment to move into.... Another incident of them coming to paint the rails on the balacony. They came a day earlier than what the flyer said. They got paint on my patio furniture and BBQ, killed two plants, and used my patio furniture to stand on.... Moved up rent from 1370 to 1500 for a 1 bdrm and a den 940 sp ft. Im now moving to a 2 2 1100 sq ft for 1670.... If you have two cars and come home after 7, you might have to park in the back far away from your aparment... Maintence has good turn around but does shotty work at best.... Tons of domestic disputes from many differnet apartments for the first year I lived here....

Summary: Still better than living any where north of lrvine.

Dude at least you can find parking somewhere. I lived in Costa Mesa and there was zero spots ever. (Villa Venetia) No street parking no anything anywhere. The rent was about the same. That sux. That's person sounds lazy. They should have pulled your file and looked at the lease. I'd be POed. As for the painter, was it their staff or a painting company? Either way isn't it hard to find good help in So. Cal. You 'd think it get better with the job marketing the way it is. BRING ON THE UNEMPLOYED MORTGAGE BROKERS to manage! (or not)
