Management is determined to take a decent place to live and make it unbearable. $100 to $150 rent increases have been annual events since we arrived 3 years ago. Now they've added a new twist - shorter leases! This one will be only 10 months, meaning another huge rent increase can be inflicted on hapless residents even more often. Maintenance people are friendly and polite, but unfortunately they're working with cheap fixtures that need constant repair. And I don't know how anyone got same day or next day service. They tell you up front it will be 5 days, and then they take every second of it. 5 days! I've never lived anywhere that didn't respond same day, and these guys institutionalize 5 day response. They want to do it when it's convenient for them, not for their residents -- customers -- paying $1,800 per month. And yes, they're rude and arrogant. I expect that with apartment management. These tend to be mediocre talents given artificial power and not one whit of customer service training, and they like to push people around. Watch the fines, too. Twice they've accused us of paying rent late and assessed $50 fines. We've NEVER paid later than the 1st of the month, and it takes until the 4th to be late and assessed a fine, but we've had to twice stand up to the little girl's bullying and suggest they can take it up in court to get a "one time courtesy waiver" on the late fee. Mmmm. You get many similar "features" renting from any large property management firm in Orange County, but I'd recommend getting your punishment elsewhere. This place will dilute your wallet in ever increasing amounts, and doesn't provide value in return.

Have you found a better place to live? Have you checked out any other apartments in the area? Anything in a similar price range that's better - better fixtures anywhere? You should ask for receipt for rent. What a hassle on the late fees.
