Our apartment was outstanding, with views to the snowy mountains, and a cozy fire... but so ended the enchantment!

Nearby tenants were self-ordained spies, and story-mongers. We were never at a lack for entertainment there - albeit, always at someones expense. The repo business was also booming. I watched 15 repos one night from my balcony between 2-4am - should have had the popcorn ready!

Maintenance was very rude - They entered my balcony one morning, while I was still asleep, and I woke up to workmen peering into my bedroom at 0730 - glad I wear pajamas! Another day, I was in the shower, and had a load of clothes in the washer, when some man called through the door... my BATHROOM door... to inform me that they were shutting off the H20... water was leaking onto the porch below, and they needed to do 'emergency' maintenance on the outside water heater. They had the water turned off before I could get all the shampoo out of my hair, and eyes... forget the clothes!

When we left the apartment it was in 'perfect' condition - absolutely licked - spanking clean. They brought out a black light and charged us for extra damage due to cat urine... we didn't own a cat. They said that it had been brought to their attention that a cat was seen in the apartment. Darn nuisance those ghost cats!!! **Note to self: always have/demand a 'carpet scan' prior to moving in ANYWHERE!

Too many problems for the price. There are better places nearby. General area was nice, but PLEASE pick a different place!

Spies and Story mongers! I wish managers could screen for mental disabilities...ahh blessed fairhousing. That sux that there was a flood. That happend to me once in Fullerton. I was poed, but I guess it's better then flooding. Good idea with pre-scanning your carpet. managers change so often, they have no idea what your carpets condition is except for the probably scanned the last residents carpet too and have a record or invoice to prove it was urine free. Crazy Ghost Cat. You said you found a better place, where did you move too? Are you paying more?

They had NOT done a 'black light' test on the previous owners because they hadn't owned a cat(?) No real biggie... company paid the apt. anyway:) We changed areas - like to check out different scenes - at least the 'ghost cat' seems to have disappeared. We're in Irvine now... prices are pretty static in the mid $2000's. Our friends went to the Aliso Creek Apts. They LOVE it there:) I guess it's more laid-back and friendly. I think they pay around $1900, but it's like a cute litle townhouse!

The management is really bad news. Never seen anything like it! SO rude. Customer service does not exist!!!!!

I couldn't agree more. We unfortunately fell prey to the story-mongers and were basically forced out. We were actually served an eviction notice for "excessive noise". We were rarely even home and never had a party. Sorry if I like to sit outside and talk with one other person in the evening! I believe that it is my right in those over-priced apartments to utilize my patio!
