This is an outstanding apartment complex. Too sad to leave, moving out of state. Great location, great apartment. We had 2/2.5 town home and loved it! We never heard the neighbors, everything was in good working condition, maintenance was great. Those people who complain are either too spoiled rotten or they are just super unhappy with their life. For the price you pay in Barcelona you get location, quality and service of living you deserve. Great place for family people, so many parks to take your kids to, shopping is right there. If you are looking for an apartment, this is it. And trust me, i do not work there, i am not trying to advertise, just trying to help people who are looking to rent make a good decision.
Thanks Barcelona, we will never forget you!

First of all, I am really tired of you, haters, thinking that you are the smartest people in the world. Reality check -YOU ARE NOT! i am living in Texas now, it would be damn hard for me to work there!!! i truly believe Barcelona is that great. Second of all, I used Apartment ratings website to find a place based on a realistic opinion, not a super unhappy angry people's subjective point of view (which you get anyway). I want to help people to at least give a chance to this property, because I was happy there. And to the second comment: we moved to Texas, we like it here,found a brand new luxury complex, but it still does not compare. And another good property in Aliso Viejo, i would say, would be St. Moritz, actually even better location, but a bit more expensive.

Why would you say you do not work there? How can anyone believe a word of what you wrote? It is common knowledge that the management at the Barcelona is rude, self-serving, incompetent, and unavialable. Everything you wrote here is a fabrication, and should not be taken seriously. Too many people were taken advantage of at this location, and now that rents are declining they are left with a bad reputation. In closing, if you want to compare the Barcelona than it must be to a standard. Ask youself what standard the Barcelona is being compared to, and who else can you rent from at these prices. Now that the numbers of foreclosures are up, you do not need to rent at these prices to be treated so poorly. What is the market price? What is the relative price? Why reward bad behavior?

Have to say, the person questioning the glowing words is closer to the truth. There are certainly good things about Barcelona, but heaven it is not, and the staff is indeed rude, self-serving, arrogant (you are property managers, folks, imbued with artificial power that only a substandard intellect could love) and utterly, laughably incompetent. The fixtures are incredibly cheap and break constantly. They sock it to you hard with each rent increase, only now in a weak housing market being humbled into a semblance of reality. You don't have to be a "hater" to recognize certain realities.
