After living here for several years, I was curious about all those "emergency" hot water heater replacements. Turns out, there are major issues with the plumbing here wich has led to SEVERAL DOZEN hot water heaters throughout the diferent buildings to blow their tops and leak - leak into the walls, the adjacent units, the units below...

I noticed a curious bit of mildew on one of my interior walls one day and simply cleaned it with hot water and bleach. A week or two later, it was back - and a lot of it - and it wasn't just mildew. It was MOLD. All those leaky hot water heaters drained in between the walls and into the walls and ceilings of the units below.

LOTS of mold. I toured a unit under "conversion" to a condo one evening. Some of the walls were opened up to replace electrical fixtures. The ceiling was open in spots for the "re-plumbing" and there was MOLD. MOLD, MOLD, and MORE MOLD!

I had heard little anecdotes from other residents, but never believed it until now. Then I happened to bump into one of those residents in the magagers office. Poor guy hadn't been able to live in his unit for some time and they were kissing his butt!

The management had been very nice and prompt in requests, but after seeing what I have seen (along with photos) I wouldn't live here another month and I certainly would never buy here. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen.
