Have you ever left a good review for an apartment complex' No one does. Most of the good reviews are bogus and left by Shea Property employees. This place looks great! However, it is noisy as hell!!! Come on down and sign a lease if you don't believe me.

I'm not an employee of Shea Properties and I've written a good review. Are any of your statements based on facts or reality or just your jaded perspective? If you want a dead quiet place to live, buy a house.

I've never met the people above me. I can tell you that the people above me wake up at 6am. They shower, then leave at 7am. They come home at 7pm and go to sleep at around 11pm. They have sex about once a week and have weekends off. Normal right? I can tell you all of this because of all of the noise/quite periods up there. During sex she moans and says fme, fme, fme for bout 5 minutes. Everytime they leave their door slams and SHAKES my apartment walls. Anyone defending this place can move in for only $199 and pay 1400/mo for 600sq ft. Knock yourself out. They have plenty of empty units. I would recommend one by the pool.....extra noise there for you noise conniseurs that defend CL.

I wrote a good review and I am not an employee. I have apartment expectations and this one has exceeded them. Yes, I can hear my neighbors on occasion but I certainly expected to when I moved in. I just sold my house and I heard more noise in my neighborhood. Good Luck finding some place to live in So Cal that's quiet! I don't think it exists!

Its obvious with this site that there are more bad reviews then good - why? Because that's how it always is...its so much easier to complain then to say something nice. Plus when you're heated about something you want to vent...when you are happy about something usually you aren't so passionate that you just have to tell people. Its the same thing for Customer Service surveys etc. The bad things are easier to see. Those who take time to write something nice are the minority. I definitely agree that some sound like management and probably are but there are those you can tell that genuinely enjoy where they stay or stayed. Currently sound is not an issue because I don't hear much...there are loud people at the pools but when has a pool ever been quiet especially during the summer.

I love my apartment because I did my research. In a large complex like this, there are going to be some nice apartments in quiet areas and crappy ones. IF you hate where you're living now, I would suggest making a list of things that are important to you for next time. Here was my list at moving in: See the apartment during the day so we see how much sun it gets. I like sun. TOP floor. Almost no noise, no bugs, no ants, spiders and so on. AWAY from the parking garage and the pool. Sure the pool is nice to look at but saturday morning comes and you're wishing the noise of screaming kids would stop or at night it's the young party people. All the negative things people are saying are correct, but only for where their apartment is located. I think people have unrealistic expectations of what apartment living is all about. Do you expect a pool apartment to be quiet or being right next to the garage quiet? If you do then you're an idiot. There are enough vacant apartments here that there is no way you should end up with a crappy one. I stress the top floor because I'm sure the people below us can hear us but I don't hear anything and that's the way I like it. :) The only thing I'm a bit worried about is moving out. I've read some bad experience on here. Because I'm super cautious, at move in, I documented everything and took PICTURES of all the dirt marks on the walls, patio and so on. I'm not going to be taken advantage of. You just have to be smart about things. This applies to EVERY place you may ever want to rent.
