This place is a real dump. It is going nowhere but downhill until they replace their awful management. Once moved in I found out the HVAC system didn't work. After some arguing with the management they fixed it and left 2 gaping holes in the drywall. Those holes remained until I moved out. I never had much hot water since the hot water heater never worked properly. According to the management, if hot water came out of the pipes when it was turned on everything was fine. Who cares if it's still hot 3 mins later' When one signs a 6 month lease, one might assume a 6 month lease is the same everywhere(6 months). Not at Wood Canyon Villa, they charged me for a credit check (which they never ran) and never filed the lease paperwork. So basically I was month to month. This place is out of control. After all this they sent a letter that they were increasing rent. HA! With all the problems, outdated appliances, etc. They are out of their minds.

Positives: Parking was no problem though. Only 1/3 of the apartments had residents. After all, who's going to stay very long at a dump like this'

I totally disagree! I was the 3rd person to move into this complex back when they first opened in 1993, moved away in 2002 and just came back last November, 2005. I personally would not have moved back if the above mentioned comments were true. True, it is an older complex now, but they do keep your items working or they will fix them pretty fast. Just my opinion. : )
