The Wood Canyon staff is misleading. They want you to rent their apartments so they tell you what you want to hear. I can understand why, if the staff had told us that parking was a problem, and that road noise was excessive, we would have made other arrangements. I asked them several times about parking & Noise. I moved here from out of state and was not able to visit Wood Canyon before We moved. After asking several times, and explaining that parking problems were one of our pet pieves, the staff guaranteed that there were no parking problems. A week after we moved in it was obvious that that was not true. Plan on street parking unless you demand additional parking. After several requests they finally gave me another assigned spot to park.



Wood Canyon Road is very busy. We might as well have been next to I-5. The staff said that it was very quiet. It is except for the abundant traffic speeding by the Apartments in excess of 50 MPH. Ask for an apartment in the back away from the road. The posted speed by the APT is 50. Prepare for a lot of noise.

The staff was very responsive to our everyday needs like maintaining the prpoerty, and reparing broken items.




Remember when you move out to request a walk through before you leave. When we left the staff just took our keys and said they didn?t have time for the walk through. Big Mistake!! Make them do it. Wy wife and I cleaned the apartment ourselves. We overlooked the blinds and Wood Canyon charged us the full cleaning fee of $65.00. FYI Wood Canyon did refund part of the cleaning fee. Just make sure to do the walk through. If we had had a chance to do the walk through we could have avoided the cost.



Aside from the noise Wood Canyon is not a bad place to live. Great location & good staff. LOL with your stay at Wood Canyon.
